# Staking

**Stake your M87 tokens to receive an equal amount of MTT (Messier Traveler Token).** NFT holders from early auctions or ETH purchases are auto-staked and can stake additional tokens, all managed through our staking platform—where you can track your MTT/MOTT balances, Pōwehi/Halo status, token allocations from past proposals, Darklisting eligibility, and manage your staking or withdrawals seamlessly.
