# Staking

Staking M87

**Stake your M87 tokens to receive an equal amount of MTT (Messier Traveler Token).** Messier Objects NFTs are auto-staked, and their holders can stake additional tokens.

Everything is managed on the [staking platform](https://virgo.messier.app/stake), where you can:

* track your MTT/MOTT balances
* see your Pōwehi/Halo status
* view token allocations from past proposals
* check your Dark Listed eligibility
* manage staking and withdrawals

**Maximize your rewards** by staying staked for a full investment cycle, or by holding a Messier Object NFT. Either way you earn Dark Listed status and qualify for Supernova rewards.

**No lock-up.** You can withdraw your earnings at any time.

**Claim your way:**

* **Choose the reward asset.** Claim proposal rewards in **ETH** or in the **invested token**.
* **Claim when it suits you.** Claim each reward individually, depending on gas conditions, or let rewards of the same token build up and claim them in one efficient payout.
