# Exchange Fee

### 1% Platform Fee

Each P2P swap carries a **1% fee on the total tokens in the swap**. The fee goes to the VirgoDAO treasury, where it funds DAO investments, staking rewards and the buyback & burn of M87.

| Token tax on DEX Fallback fills | May apply (charged by the token's own contract on the DEX portion) |
| Network gas                     | Paid to the blockchain, not to Messier                             |
