Welcome to the Adastra Card User Guide! This document will provide you with all the information you need to get started with your Adastra crypto debit card, including activation, usage, fees, and key features.

1. Getting Started

How to Get Your Adastra Card

To get your Adastra Card, complete your KYC (Know Your Customer) verification on the Adastra app. The first 200 applicants are eligible for a free virtual card, while others can get theirs for just $3. You can apply directly through the Adastra app or visit:

Supported Cryptocurrencies

Once activated, you can top up your card with any of the 87 supported cryptocurrencies, allowing you to spend crypto seamlessly.

2. Key Features & Benefits

  • Global Acceptance: Spend crypto at over 38 million merchants worldwide using Mastercard’s global network.

  • ATM Withdrawals: Access cash from millions of ATMs globally.

  • Multi-Currency Support: Spend in any currency with settlements in EUR or USD.

  • Unlimited Transactions: No limits on POS purchases, online transactions, or ATM withdrawals.

  • Higher Withdrawal Limits: Up to 50K €/month.

  • Secure Transactions: NFC technology for contactless payments and 3D-Secure authentication.

  • Free Same-Currency Transfers: No fees for transfers between Mobilum users.

4. Managing Your Adastra Card

  • In-App Wallet: Manage your card, view balances, and track transactions directly in the Adastra app.

  • Advanced Security: Freeze/unfreeze your card, set spending limits, and enable transaction alerts.

  • Top-Ups: Instantly top-up using any of the 87 supported cryptocurrencies.

5. Mobilum Integration

Mobilum's and Mastercard's payment infrastructure ensures fast and secure transactions, seamless crypto-to-fiat conversions, and compliance with international regulations.

6. Supporting the M87 Ecosystem

A portion of the transaction fees from Adastra card usage is directed to the VirgoDAO treasury, supporting the M87 token ecosystem.

  • How do I activate my card? Complete KYC on the Adastra app and follow the activation instructions.

  • Who is conducting the KYC? It is conducted by Sumsub, one of the leading companies in the field, which also works with major crypto platforms like Binance, HTX, Bybit, Kraken, and many others.

  • Can I use M87 tokens to top-up? Yes, M87 tokens are supported for top-ups.

  • What happens when I top-up using a token? The token will be sold for fiat to load your card balance.

  • How does Adastra compare to MetaMask’s card? Adastra offers global acceptance at over 38 million merchants, clear and transparent fees, higher transaction limits, and mobile integration, unlike MetaMask’s card which has limited availability and undisclosed fees in its current early access phase.

  • Will there be more tokens supported for top-ups? Yes, we are working to add more tokens for instant top-ups as part of our roadmap.
