What is the Messier P2P Exchange?** The Messier P2P Exchange is a hybrid P2P-DEX for swapping tokens directly between users on Ethereum, BNB Chain, Base, Solana, Avalanche and Robinhood Chain. It offers a Web3 marketplace for public and private swaps, and a Telegram bot for direct peer-to-peer exchanges. You set your own prices and control who can take part in each swap. If no peer is available, orders can fall back to DEX liquidity. **Q. What's new in V4.0?** V4.0 (live since 16 June 2026) brought: * a full redesign with Pro and Lite modes * real-world assets (commodities and tokenized stocks) * a unified multi-chain wallet, cross-chain swaps and private InterLink withdrawals * TradingView charts * PWA mobile install * MFA and anti-phishing protection * tax report export * Pool-to-Market liquidity aggregation See P2P Exchange V4.0. **Q. What is MEX?** MEX is the next chapter of the Messier Exchange: *"After CEX and DEX comes: MEX"*, a single place to trade everything. Details and launch timing will be announced on Messier's official channels. **Q. Can I trade stocks and commodities?** Yes. The **RWA** tab lists gold, silver and tokenized US stocks and ETFs, and Robinhood Chain gives access to 196 tokenized assets. See RWA Markets. #### Listings **Q. What are the main types of listings?** * **Public listings:** available to all users. They can be filled by one user or several, depending on the Multi-Swap option. * **Private listings:** only accessible to people you invite, so you control who can take part. **Q. Can any token be traded?** Yes. Pools are permissionless: anyone can create a P2P pool with DEX Fallback for any token in two clicks, with no pool-creation fee. See Permissionless Token Listings. **Q. Can I set custom listing durations?** Yes. Choose 24 or 48 hours, or keep the listing open indefinitely. If your order doesn't complete in time, you can cancel it at any time and get your tokens back. **Q. How does the Multi-Swap feature work?** Multi-Swap lets several users each buy part of your order, which fills large orders faster. It suits sellers who want to distribute tokens to multiple buyers quickly. **Q. What are Private Swaps, and how do they work?** Private Swaps are restricted listings that only invited users can access. You create a unique invite code and share it with the people you choose. #### Fees **Q. Is there a fee for using the Messier P2P Exchange?** Yes. Each swap carries a **1% platform fee**, which goes to the VirgoDAO treasury to fund investments, staker rewards and the M87 buyback & burn. **Messier Objects holders pay no platform fees.** There are no token taxes on P2P fills, and creating a pool is free. See Exchange Fee. **Q. How does Messier P2P improve on traditional exchanges?** Traditional DEXs suffer from thin liquidity, high buy/sell taxes, and tactics like front-running and sandwich attacks. On Messier P2P, buyers and sellers receive exactly the amount they expect, so they keep more tokens and don't move the chart. **Q. How does Messier P2P benefit other token holders?** Holders can swap directly with each other and avoid the high taxes and manipulation common on other venues. They keep more of their tokens and protect their investments. #### Security **Q. How are transactions secured?** Every transaction is secured by smart contracts, and funds are held in a decentralized treasury until the swap completes. Newly received tokens can only be withdrawn by the wallets involved once the swap is final. On top of that: * **2FA** is required for withdrawals. * Deposits are **screened with MistTrack**. * You can check any link or account on the [Official Verification](https://p2p.messier.app/verify) page. **Q. Can I get a report for my taxes?** Yes. Go to **More → Tax Report** to export your deposit and withdrawal history as a tax-ready PDF. #### Telegram bot **Q. How does the Telegram P2P Bot work?** The bot ([@MessierP2PBot](https://t.me/MessierP2PBot)) handles secure, direct P2P swaps in three steps: 1. **Start a swap:** open the bot, select "Create P2P Escrow" and share an invite code with the other party. 2. **Join a swap:** the invite code lets the second party view and confirm the terms before transferring tokens. 3. **Complete the swap:** tokens are exchanged through the bot's escrow system, with a 1% fee that supports VirgoDAO. **Q. What happens if there's an issue with a swap using the Telegram bot?** The bot lets you adjust the terms or refund the swap if necessary. The swap only completes once both parties confirm everything is in order.
