Pōwehi

The Embellished Dark Source of Unending Creation

The name Pōwehi comes from a Hawaiian word that was given to the M87 black hole when it was first photographed, which means Embellished Dark Source of Unending Creation. It is the world's first black hole to have been captured in an image and is the nucleus of the giant elliptical galaxy in the Virgo constellation.

• Any holder of an M87 stake that ranks within the top 87 positions is considered a Pōwehi

• Pōwehi are responsible for the unending creation of proposals the Halo vote on in Virgo

• Pōwehi are unable to vote on any proposals created in Virgo
