We do not recommend or advocate any misusage of our technologies that might otherwise result in a failure to comply with your local or federal laws & regulations. By using any of our applications or services, you acknowledge that Messier is not responsible for any misuse of our applications or services. By using any of our applications or services, you are agreeing that you alone are responsible for your actions and cannot hold liable any party (persons or company) directly involved in and/or indirectly involved in any Messier product or service. By using any of our applications or services, you are agreeing that you alone are responsible for your funds and that any errors (such as losing a note) can result in a permanent loss of your funds. Being that the application will be fully decentralized, you acknowledge that you alone are responsible for the proper use of the application and the funds you deposit into & withdraw from it.

**Known scams to watch for:**

* **Fake migrations.** There is **no** M87 token migration. The only contract is `0x80122c6a83C8202Ea365233363d3f4837D13e888`.
* **Fake airdrops and "high-APY staking" guides.** Several unofficial Medium accounts use the Messier name to promote fake M87 airdrops and staking with impossible returns (such as "893% APY"). Messier's only Medium account is [@MessierM87](https://medium.com/@MessierM87). VirgoDAO rewards are never a fixed APY.
* **Fake "Messier AI" projects.** Messier AI products are listed only in these docs and on messier.app.
* **Impersonators in DMs.** Admins never DM you first.
